Kakehashi has already successfully completed several major projects: focus group discussions, a report on the experiences of and challenges faced by Japanese-Filipino children and youth in adjusting to their new life in Japan, and a handbook designed to help them with these adjustments.

Upcoming Events
We envision collaborating with experts to organize pre-departure orientations in the Philippines and post-arrival orientations here in Japan. These orientations are both essential and will form part of a comprehensive program of support services to address the adjustment problems of these young people and their families after being resettled in Japan.
This will likewise be geared towards the strengthening of family relationships as well as the ties with individuals and organizations supporting migrants in need of help. We believe that by partnering with the government and other like-minded organizations, we will achieve the shared goal of creating a much brighter future for young people migrating to Japan.
