We have likewise developed a survey which we disseminated through Filipino communities in Japan from January to June, 2019 to assess their needs.
We have presented our findings at two conferences, one at the Nagoya University and another at the University of Hawaii, Manoa.
The data can also serve as bases for future policy recommendations to improve the situation of migrants to Japan from the Philippines and identify what assistance would be most useful to them here.
