Kakehashi, in partnership with CYWTAC, recently completed AGAPAY: A Life Coach Training Program held online over three consecutive Saturdays this August. Dr. Marylendra Penetrante facilitated the course, which she developed for leaders and supporters of Filipino communities in Japan. During each two-hour session, approximately 35 participants received skills training in the basics of human development and behavioral theories, the foundations of human communication, and the concept of coaching, including the various coaching models. This enables them now to tailor their own to best meet the needs of their beneficiaries in improving their daily lives, relationships, and careers. Both the subject matter and facilitator proved very popular with the participants, and a follow-up program is being planned.
